The 1MCC‐Astro Kem BOLA programme is an opportunity for Malaysian youths under the age of 12 to experience professional football training and life as an international football star at Cardiff City Football Club. Selected participants will learn better football techniques, tactics, strategy, fitness, etiquette and sportsmanship – from one of the best in the world's most loved game.

The nation‐wide Selection Camps for 1MCC‐Astro Kem BOLA 2012 ended on 18 November 2012 and the Advanced Training Camp was held in Bangi from 1 to 8 December 2012. From the Advanced Training Camp, 32 participants have been chosen to attend the 1MCC‐Astro Kem BOLA Cardiff Training Programme which will be held from 23 March to 5 April 2013.

  1. ORGANISERS
    1. The organisers of 1MCC-Astro Kem B.O.L.A 2012 ("Programme") are 1MALAYSIA CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY SDN BHD ("1MCC") and MEASAT BROADCAST NETWORK SYSTEMS SDN BHD ("Astro") (collectively "Organisers").
    2. Any inquiries regarding 1MCC-Astro Kem BOA, may be channelled to the Organiser via the Feedback section in www.astrokasih.org/kembola

  2. REGISTRATION AND RELEASE
    1. With the submission of the official Registration Form and Release Form of 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA to the Organiser, it is presumed that the participants and their parents/ guardians:
      • agree to abide by all the conditions of participation set out in these documents
      • represent to the Organiser that the participants are in a fit and healthy condition to participate in this physically intensive training camp.

  3. PARTICIPATION
    1. 1MCC-Astro Kem B.O.L.A is open to all Malaysians under the age of 12 years in 2012 possessing valid Malaysian identity cards. (Born in the year 2000 or after)
    2. Number of participants shall be limited to 300 children for each of the six training camp venues. Submission of the Registration Form and Release Form (collectively the "Forms") does not guarantee any candidate the opportunity to participate in 1MCC-Astro Kem B.O.L.A. The Organiser shall be entitled to reject or refuse participation by any person for any reason, including (without limitation) where the Forms are not complete, illegible or any provisions in the Terms and Conditions are not fulfilled or adhered to by the person.
    3. The Forms can be accessed at www.astrokasih.org/kembola
    4. Application for registration or participation through the phone will not be accepted.
    5. Priority will be given to candidates who submit completed forms before the respective closing dates as provided in clause 4.1 below.
    6. The Organisers will not be responsible or liable for any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any person due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and sending the Forms as a result of any network, communication, ISP or system error, interruption and/or failure experienced by the Organisers or the person's telecommunication service provider and/or resulting from participation or the downloading of any materials in the Programme. In the event of such error, interruption and/or failure, the Organisers shall not be responsible or liable for any failure encountered by any person to participate in the Programme or any failure encountered by the Organisers in fulfilling its obligations hereunder.

  4. PARTICIPATION

    2. All selected participants must be present for all training sessions. Any participant who fails without reasonable cause to attend any training session, will not be considered for selection to the next level at Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN).
    3. All selected participants acknowledge that the final training session will be held in Cardiff, Wales ("Cardiff Training"). It is a condition for participation at the Cardiff Training that participants must hold a valid passport with at least six (6) months' validity period. It shall be the responsibility of such participants to obtain the necessary visas and other travel documents at their sole cost and expense. No compensation whatsoever will be given should the participants fail to obtain such documents, regardless of the circumstances.
    4. Passport control and in-country authorities reserve the right to refuse entry. If any of the participants is refused passage, entry or exit to or from the country being visited, the Organisers will not be responsible in any way to compensate the winner for such refusal of passage, entry or exit and any additional costs incurred will be at the sole cost and responsibility of the participant.

  5. COACHES
    1. Training at 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA will be conducted by qualified coaches from Cardiff City Football Club or any other persons as determined by the Organisers.
    2. 5.2 Decisions of the coaches are final and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding selection of participants for Advanced Training at MSN and the Cardiff Training at Cardiff City Football Club.

  6. PLAYER'S CLOTHING
    1. All participants must wear the T-shirts or jerseys provided by the Organisers throughout 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA.
    2. Participants are required to wear their own nylon socks, shin guard and football boots throughout their participation in 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA training sessions. Other than official t-shirts or jerseys, the Organisers shall not be responsible for supplying any other item of clothing to the participants.
    3. Participants must ensure that their attire is always neat and clean before each 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA training session.

  7. SAFETY
    1. Although all precautions will be undertaken by the Organisers throughout the Programme, participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety. The partcipants acknowledge that his/her participation in the Programme is at his/her sole risk. The Organisers shall not be responsible if there is any injury, disability or loss of life during the Programme.
    2. The Organisers reserve the sole right to prohibit and disqualify any participant from 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA if it appears that participants are in a state of poor physical health.
    3. Briefings will be made by the Organisers and 1MCC-Astro Kem BOLA Coaches regarding safety measures during the training sessions. However, in the event of an accident, the Organisers will provide reasonable medical assistance to affected participants.

  8. DISCIPLINE
    1. All participants shall give due respect to the coaches, officials and other fellow participants.
    2. Participants are prohibited from being involved in unacceptable behavior such as:
      • Fighting, or starting a fight with others, including any third parties
      • Intentionally causing serious injury to others
      • Insulting and offending others
      • Smoking, drug abuse or bringing substances that are harmful to the health of participants to the premises or training fields which the Programme is held
      • Intentionally causing damage to equipment and facilities available at the premises or training fields which the Programme is held
    3. All participants must comply with the attendance requirement set by the Coaches.
    4. The Organisers reserve the right to prohibit and remove any participant found to contravene any of the requirements specified herein or during the Programme.

  9. OTHERS
    1. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any loss of money or property by any participant during the Programme.
    2. The cleanliness of any venue, including all football fields and premises used for the Programme is the responsibility of all participants and must be maintained throughout the duration of the Programme.
    3. The Organisers will consider all appeals except for offences specified in clause 8.2 above and strive to communicate the result of this appeal within two weeks from the date any appeal is received.
    4. The Organisers reserve the right at any time to modify, change, amend, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions set out in this document at its absolute discretion without prior notice.
    5. The Organisers may terminate or suspend the Programme at any time at their absolute discretion in which case, the Organisers may elect not to select any participants. Such termination or suspension shall not give rise to any claim by the participants. If the Programme is resumed by the Organisers, the participant shall abide by the Organisers' decision regarding resumption of the Programme.
    6. The participants shall not be entitled to assign any of the rights or sub-contract any of the obligations herein. The Organisers shall be entitled to assign or sub-license the whole or any part of its rights hereunder to any third party as may be determined by the Organisers.
    7. These Terms and Conditions of the Programme shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
    8. Participants and their parents/guardians/chaperons shall treat all Terms and Conditions and rules and regulations of the Programme and all information and knowledge obtained by the participants in relation to and/or in connection with the Programme and/or derived as a result of his/her participation in the same, including without limitation the Organisers' business and operational details, and details about the mechanics of the Programme (hereafter collectively known as "Confidential Information"), as confidential and the participants shall, during and after the Programme period, take all reasonable precautions to prevent disclosures of the Confidential Information to unauthorized persons or entities for any reason whatsoever and undertakes to deliver to the Organizers all tangible materials embodying the Confidential Information including any documentation, records, listings, notes, sketches, drawings, memoranda, models, accounts, reference materials, samples and machine readable media and equipment that is in any way related to the Confidential Information including all duplicates and copies thereof.
    9. Unless otherwise notified by the Organisers, all costs incurred by the participants in relation to and/or with respect to the Programme including without limitation postal charges or Internet Service Provider (ISP) charges (if applicable), all transport costs, communication charges, accommodation, meal costs and other related costs incurred by the participant as a result of and/or pursuant to his/her participation in the Programme shall be solely borne by the participants. The Organisers shall not be under any obligation to reimburse the participants for any of such costs and expenses incurred thereof.
    10. The main language of the Terms and Conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to any other language than English shall be for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency between this English language and any other languages, the English language version shall prevail and govern in all respects.
    11. The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any terms hereunder shall not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions of the Programme.
    12. All rights and privileges herein granted to the Organisers are irrevocable and not subjected to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the participants have the right to injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organisation of the Programme, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of any recording of the Programme and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Programme.
